Consult with a friend . Also take to go to church or join a health club. Doctor will subscribe antidepressants but it is up to you to make or take that step for change .I remember I was told to write a journal and than on your better days Read it. Look at it and say " Wow did I write that " You will find out that is not yourself and rip the page because you will end up saying I don't feel that way no more.
