Does this sound like a good plot for a movie.?

The story centers around a young man who knows nothing of his past other than the fact that he was a citizen of an extremely reclusive and mysterious nation near the Mediterranean around Europe and Asia. He lives with political asylum in a typical suburban neighborhood in the United States under guard of the UN. Curious about the ominous nation that he was from and his own past, he gets a job as a journalist and tries to sneak within the boarders of his own foreboding homeland.
