When it comes to attraction it is neither. Usually the Vertex and Anti-Vertex could be helpful, the parans of the asc, ruler of the 7th, moon, venus and mars... those are what is considered the main attractors. The sun and asc are truly something that confirms the attraction, rather than being the attraction.
