Why was Huguette Clark, the reclusive millionaire, so reclusive?
She has never had her photograph taken since 1930 and had few friends. She'd been living in her rich properties. Anyone know why she was so reclusive?
Does 1 Corinthians 13 contradict itself? What EXACTLY is it saying about Love? This is not a Troll question.?
The first 3 verses talk about doing, as a person, like speaking in tongues, or giving prophecy, or having faith, and giving to the poor and if we not have love along with these, (or doing these in the spirit of love), it is like trying to sing and only making a loud noise. Then four to seven speaks to what love is (not what we are), It is kind, it has no envy, it forgives and forgets wrongs to it, it dislikes evil but cheers the truth, and it always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres and this is not speaking of people as such, but is simply defining love itself. I hope this is clearer than "mud", but I tried, anyway. God bless.
Would you read this book?
Seems interesting enough, not my type of genre but it does intrigue me. Seems like kind of a mystery where strange things start to happen to her each times she reads a page but i hope there will be something bigger that pulls the person in and keeps them reading, a meaning and all.
What are the differences and similarities between goths, punks, emos and metal heads?
Also some stereotypes from these groups, for example: goths practice vampirism, emos are depressed, punks dont shower and metal heads are viking wannabes.
How come Mexicans get crap from doing things that are stereotypical of them?
For example if a Mexican has lots of kids they get crap for that, yet some white people have many kids and no one gives them crap for that. If some old Mexican men flirt with younger women, then all Mexican men are perverts, but yet look at hollywood and how many white Male celebrities date and marry younger women than them. A Mexican can't take a nap outside in public without getting stereotyped as lazy, if a white person is laying out in the park he is just enjoying nature.
Soon-to-be college grad hopeless and needs help?
I'm a senior at Rutgers University studying Economics with a current GPA of 3.9, a strong track record of academic excellence, involved in some school clubs related to my major as well as a member of various organizations that boast academic integrity in the fields of business and economics. Unfortunately I haven't done any internships and have one semester left. I've been looking and applying but have received zero responses and feeling worried about my future prospects. I know times are tough for recent college grads and that an employment crisis exists in this country, but I'm having trouble just getting an internship. I feel I've wasted my time on a degree that's getting me nowhere and that I should have majored in something else. Unfortunately it's too late and I'm not paying a dime more for college so I need to know what I can do with what I have now. I want to have at least one internship finished (preferably related to my major) by time I graduate. Where should I look and what steps should I take to increase my employment chances in the near future that already seem bleak. Please provide as much detail as you can and lay off the jokes. I was the first in my family to go to college and felt unprepared for all that I should have done during college. I need some advice I'm losing my mind. Thanks
Ladies, how close are you to the average guy's foot size?
The average U.S. adult male has size 10.5 feet, which equals a womens 12. A few women can boast that size (which happens to be my size). How about you?
